Hi Gerald

I hope you are well and have recovered from last week. I’m sorry I missed you in person, I heard your name at the closing ceremony but couldn’t see where you were.

I’m just emailing you to say thanks for supporting my maiden WPC, I really appreciate it. It was a really intense few days, where I learned a few new things. It was such a relief to see the communication issues that I experience on a slide during a talk. Now I know where to go for help. That is life changing. The most important win for me, was making new friends. I never make friends at my age, but last week was so amazing. On day one I got together with two ladies who both live within 50km of me and we became friends from the start. We laughed a lot and cried a bit, especially on the last day when it was all too much for us. Throughout the three days we held each other up and our friendship grew. 

On that note I would like to thank you. PD has brought us all on a new journey and I am so glad that our paths have crossed.
